Vaporizer FAQ
Studies have shown that it is possible to actively vaporize component ingredients by heating botanicals to a temperature short of the point of combustion, thereby eliminating or substantially reducing harmful smoke toxins that are normally present in botanical smoke. The vaporizer produces active vapor at a temperature of 360°F - 380°F. while eliminating many toxins, examples such as - benzene, a known carcinogen, plus toluene and naphthalene. Carbon monoxide and smoke tars are both qualitatively reduced by the vaporizer, but additional testing is needed to quantify the extent of the decrease.
There is good reason to believe that the highly carcinogenic tars known as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which are thought to be a leading culprit in smoking-related cancers, are suppressed, since they normally form at much higher temperatures of combustion.
What is a Vaporizer?
This is a revolutionary new technology that’s becoming incredibly popular and the preferred way to smoke legal herbs, legal herbal blends and tobacco.
The vaporizer works by heating up the material above the temperature at which the natural oils will boil out, but below the temperature at which the plant material itself will burn. This is accomplished by drawing air over our TurboVapo heating element and then through the botanical material.
How does it work?
Vaporization occurs through a process that takes advantage of the physical properties of the botanical resins. These active resins turn into vapor around 380° F. and the material does not start to combust until approximately 450° F. The material (tobacco for example) is heated until the nicotine resins volatize into a thin, cool, clear oil vapor mist.
The vaporization process bypasses the combustion process, leaving many of the harmful ingredients and gases trapped in the material. Naturally the oil vapor is much cleaner, cooler and less irritating than the hotter smoke from combustion processes, providing a more flavorful taste. Studies indicate that about 20% - 40% of nicotine is destroyed or flash-fired by gas lighters, leaving the transfer rate of actual nicotine in vaporizers higher than other devices of intake such as a tobacco pipe. Consequently, it is not only better for your health, but also a more efficient way to enjoy fine tobacco or other legal herbal blends.
How is the VaporGenie used?
The VaporGenie is used in a manner very similar to a conventional pipe. That's what makes it so easy to use.
First, the pipe is loaded with tobacco, and then the flame filter is screwed onto the pipe.
Then, you inhale from the pipe while supplying flame to the flame filter. The flame filter automatically protects the tobacco from burning. You control the exact temperature by adjusting the amount of flame applied and speed of inhalation.
By paying attention to the flavors and heat inhaled, you know the temperature, and can adjust flame application accordingly. Experienced VaporGenie users can keep the air stream temperature to within a range of about +/- 30F. This is sufficient temperature control for vaporization. The new VaporGenie 2.0 (now shipping) is a great deal easier to use than the original VaporGenie.
Since the VaporGenie is designed for use with flame, the vapor is not as clean as vapor from electronic vaporizers that are properly used (electronic vaporizers often burn herb and produce smoke when used improperly). With the VaporGenie, flame exhaust is inhaled. However, most users do not notice the difference (lighter flames or match flames are much cleaner than smoke). And unlike electronic vaporizers, the VaporGenie is as portable as a conventional pipe, is less expensive, requires no heat-up time, and is more reliable. There are no electronic gizmos to break in the VaporGenie.
The VaporGenie is an excellent choice for people just starting out with vaporization, and for people who own an electronic vaporizer, but would like to vaporize away from home.
How is the VaporCannon & VaporBox better than “Globe” style Vaporizers?
We produce a new class of Vaporizer termed “Instant Hot Air Generation”. Unlike the out-dated and inefficient style, which uses the infamous “bubble”, the VaporCannon does not waste your material. The old style units work with conduction and produces some smoke as you wait for the vapor to collect in the bubble. We call this the Vapor Collection Phase. Meanwhile, it LOSES it’s flavor and POTENCY each second. The Instant Hot Air Generation VaporCannon uses hot air flowing over your material immediately delivering a much fresher taste and more potent inhalation.
Do you Guarantee the units?
We offer one of the BEST Guarantees in the industry, a “Total Satisfaction Guarantee”. Return the unit within 15 days for any reason and you only pay a small 15% restocking fee. Our 5 year FREE parts & labor warranty on the heating element is the best in the industry. For a limited time only, we will include in the purchase price of $154, a handy stirring tool, a custom, hand-blown glass mouthpiece, and a free gift which is yours to keep even if you choose to return the unit, as is the colored glass bowl. Please email us if you have any questions.
On the Vaporbox it is a lifetime on the heater core.

Can I adjust the Vaporizer temperature range?
There is an ideal temperature range that must be attained during the vaporization process. If the material is not heated up enough, then the valuable oils may not be fully volatized and you will not get a proper hit. If the material is heated up too much then you can char or even burn the material. The temperature of the material can be controlled mainly by manipulating two variables; the temperature of the heat source (as indicated by the intensity of red/orange glow) and the speed at which the air is drawn over the material (a result of how hard the user inhales). If you draw slowly, then each unit volume of hot air inhaled spends more time in contact with the plant material thereby resulting in more heat transfer to the material and higher material temperatures. If you draw faster, then the hot air has less time to heat the material before it has passed the material by. Therefore, the hotter the iron is, the faster that you may have to inhale in order to achieve optimal results. Conversely, if the iron is cooler, then you will have to inhale slower in order to heat the material enough to vaporize the essential oils & active ingredients. It will take a bit of practice to discover the temperature that works well for your own style of draw. Most users “learn” to use their Vaporizers almost immediately and refine their process through use.
How do I know I am using the Vaporizer correctly?
The easiest way to make sure you are using the Vaporizer correctly is to check the botanical material after inhaling. If it is blackened, you should turn the knob down a little or draw faster. If you do not get any vapor, you should turn the temperature up a little or draw slower. At first it may not seem like you are getting any vapor because it is a cool, clear, oil mist that dissipates quickly and is not seen unless you blow against a light source. Some people prefer a higher setting for a more full-bodied, slightly smoky hit. After a few inhalations you will notice your exhaust decreasing to a thin blue exhalation indicating that the material is exhausted of its essential oils. Experiment with taking the material to different colors and consistencies to discover what you prefer.
Expel material by blowing whip into a bottle, can, or plastic container. If some material remains in the tip it may not be completely spent.
I bought a Vaporizer and I have been a very satisfied customer, but the heating system does not work well anymore. The light turns on but there is no heat. Where can I mail it to or what can I do in order to get my vaporizer working properly?
